Ronnie Abbey: We used to hang up meat in smokehouses with palmetto fans. Clifford Poncho: They used to make alligator toys out of the leaves. They also used to use them to make lean-tos or brush arborrs to keep a horse under or for temporary shelter when hunting or dancing.
